Mitotic spatial model: Arrangement of homologous chromosomes

Abstract: Two different mitotic spatial models (Lavania & S harma, Biosystems 14:171 178, 1981, Ashley & Pocock, Genetica 55:16 l-! 69, 198 l) for the arrangement of the chromosomes in the nucleus are analysed for the sake of comparison and assessment.
