Mitral and tricuspid repair in an adult achondroplastic patient

Abstract: Achondroplasia is a rare genetic disorder with multiple anatomic abnormalities making surgery, and anesthesia more challenging. The reported cases of cardiac interventions in this population are few, and to the best of our knowledge, only 16 cases are documented. Herein, we represent the first case of mitral and tricuspid repair in one of these patients, which performed without the need for specific equipment with a smooth postoperative course.
