Mixing and $CP$ violation in $D^0 \to K^- π^+$ decays

Abstract

The D 0 → K + π − decay is named wrong-sign since, when the D 0 flavour at production is determined by relying on the D * (2010) + → D 0 π + strong decay, the charges of the pions from the D * (2010) + and D 0 decays have opposite signs.
