Gd2Au2Cd: AMo2Fe

Abstract: The ternary intermetallic compound Gd 2 Au 2 Cd, synthesized by reaction of the elements via inductive melting, is studied for its structural and physical properties. Gd 2 Au 2 Cd crystallizes with the Mo 2 FeB 2 type ͑an ordered derivative of U 3 Si 2 structure͒, space group P4/mbm.
