Abstract:This study investigates the evolution and dissociation dynamics of cc¯ and bb¯ pairs within the preequilibrium, gluon-dominated stage of high energy nuclear collisions. An attractive potential made of a perturbative Coulomb-like term and of a confining term is used to simulate the attractive strong force in the pairs. Besides, we implement the interaction of the pairs with the evolving glasma fields by virtue of the Wong equations. The interaction with the classical color fields dominates the dynamics, causing… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
