BDK0,2*decays and theCPphase angleγ

Abstract: B AE ! ðD 0 ; " D 0 ; D CP ÞK ÃAE 0;2 decays are helpful in determining the CP violation angle , and we analyze these decay processes within the perturbative QCD approach based on k T factorization. We found that the branching ratio of B À ! D 0 K ÃÀ 0 can reach the order of 10 À4 , due to the enhancement of nonfactorizable contributions in color-suppressed D 0 -emission, while the branching ratio of B À ! " D 0 K ÃÀ 0 is of the order 10 À5 . The ratio of decay amplitudes is about 3 times larger than the one i… Show more

“…Thus using the Ξ bb decays into the Ξ b D ± , one may construct the interference between the b → cūs and b → ucs. The CKM angle γ can then be extracted from measuring decay widths of these channels, as in the case of B → DK [73][74][75][76][77][78], B → DK * 0,2 [79,80] and others. This is also similar for the Ω bb → Ω − D ± decays and the following Ξ bc → Ξ c D ± and Ω bc → Ω 0 D ± modes.…”

“…An analysis in other approaches like the k T factorization [49][50][51][52][53] would be similar, and for recent developments in this approach see Refs. [54][55][56][57][58][59][60][61][62]. As a reconciliation of the original QCD sum rule approach [63,64] and the application of perturbation theory to hard processes, LCSR exhibit several advantages in the calculation of quantities like the meson form factors [65][66][67][68][69].…”
