MnFe2O4 Nanoparticles‐Catalyzed C3‐Alkylation of Indoles with Benzyl Alcohols under Solvent‐Free Conditions

Abstract: Herein, we present an efficient, one‐pot reaction for accessing 3‐benzylated indoles via the coupling of benzyl alcohols with indoles under heterogeneous catalysis by manganese ferrite (MnFe2O4) nanoparticles. Notably, this reaction, for the first time, employs MnFe2O4 nanoparticles prepared using a simple grinding method.
