Abstract:BACKGROUND AND AIMS
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the principal causes of death in antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-(ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV), partly due to the vascular inflammation itself, the associated organic damage and the treatment [1].
