Abstract: BACKGROUND AND AIMS Antineutrophil cytoplasmatic antibody (ANCA) associated vasculitis (AAV) is a small vessel vasculitis hallmarked by the presence of antibodies against antigens in cytoplasmic granules of neutrophils.
