Mobile Application: Learning Basic Mathematics Operation using Augmented Reality

Abstract: At school, students must learn mathematics not only as a formality to participate in exams, but also to use their mathematical knowledge to solve problems in their daily lives. When students deal with numerical information, they tend to have a negative feeling or fear, and this is known as mathematical anxiety. The aim of the project is to develop a mobile application that integrates augmented reality technology into mathematical education and to evaluate the technological acceptance of the mobile application.… Show more

“…It was discovered that augmented reality learning material may be generated in this study. The processes involved in level 3 development research are divided into seven stages, which are as follows: 1) research on existing products; 2) literature study; 3) product development planning; 4) internal design testing; 5) design revision; 6) product development; and 7) limited trial (Mills, 2012).…”

“…AR, specifically AR based on markers, plays a crucial role in this endeavor [15], [16]. Users are required to assess body mass index (BMI)-related markers in order to access interactive workout guidance [17]. The application's incorporation of interactive videos and images enhances user engagement and comprehension significantly.…”
