A foremost debated area in the IT world is Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) which merges cloud computing and mobile computing; MCC is a prospective technology of mobile services that have been inaugurated together with the fast development in mobile applications and cloud computing technology. MCC is in the early phase of development, so it is essential to have in-depth knowledge of the technology to identify future research. Cloud computing has seen exceptional advancement in the past couple of years regarding its turn of application and development. Thus, development and research in cloud computing are scaling in a positive direction because of the increasing demand for cloud computing. On the other hand, no one is concerned about its effect on mental health. People are more concerned about the privacy, access, and security of their data over the cloud. Users are not aware of the data stored in cloud technology. Therefore, end users are always worried about the security and privacy of personal data. When cloud base services are used, users have mental stress because of the unknown place of the data storage. Consistent use of cloud-based services creates a sense of anxiety among users that are more particular about data privacy. The present article gives a transitory explanation of cloud computing and mobile computing. Applications such as M-healthcare, M-commerce, and M-gaming have been discussed to debate potential applications for mobile cloud computing.

Cloud computing security has been a critical issue with its increase in demand. One of the most challenging problems in cloud computing is detecting distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. The attack detection framework for the DDoS attack is tricky because of its nonlinear nature of interruption activities, atypical system traffic behaviour, and many features in the problem space. As a result, creating defensive solutions against these attacks is critical for mainstream cloud computing adoption. In this novel research, by using performance parameters, perplexed-based classifiers with and without feature selection will be compared with the existing machine learning algorithms such as naïve Bayes and random forest to prove the efficacy of the perplexed-based classification algorithm. Comparing the performance parameters like accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, the proposed algorithm has an accuracy of 99%, which is higher than the existing algorithms, proving that the proposed algorithm is highly efficient in detecting the DDoS attacks in cloud computing systems. To extend our research in the area of nature-inspired computing, we compared our perplexed Bayes classifier feature selection with nature-inspired feature selection like genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) and found that our classifier is highly efficient in comparison with GA and PSO and their accuracies are 2% and 8%, respectively, less than those of perplexed Bayes classifier.

Cloud computing provides the users with flexibility of using computational systems on demand at nominal cost. Execution of resource intensive task on mobile devices is still a big challenge due to resource constraints of mobile devices. Utilizing the servi ces of resource rich cloud servers for offloading the task from mobile device can overcome the resource constraint issues of mobile devices. When offloading the task, there is a need to choose an optimal cloud server from a pool of available cloud servers offering similar services. The proposed work uses three hybrid multicriteria decision methods for choosing the optimal cloud server and comparative analysis of the three methods are presented. Real time cloud servers located at four different regions are c onsidered with six quality of service ( QoS) attributes. The results indicate that all the three methods are viable solutions in selecting the optimal cloud server with multi - objective optimization on the basis of ratio anal ysis (MOORA) providing a faster response compared to other two methods. Sensitivity analysis performed proves the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
