Abstract: Die qualitativ hochwertige (Früh)Mobilisation ist auch bei schwer kranken (COVID-19-)Intensivpatienten mit ECMO-Therapie unbedingt erstrebenswert. Sedierung, blutflusssensibles extrakorporales Verfahren, großlumige ECMO-Kanülen mit Dislokationsrisiko und besonders eine bei COVID-19-Patienten häufig ausgeprägt auftretende neuromuskuläre Schwäche lassen eine Mobilisation über die Stufe 1 des IMS aber teilweise nicht zu.
