Abstract:Conversion of hemicellulose streams and the constituent monosaccharides, xylose, arabinose, glucose, mannose, and galactose, was conducted to produce value‐added chemicals, including furfural, hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), levulinic acid and anhydrosugars.
