Abstract: The bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) integrates reflection and scattering phenomena to describe the spatial reflection characteristics of the object surface. A modified spectral expression for the complex refractive index of the medium is established using the Drude-Lorentz dispersion model, and it is substituted into the polarization microfacet BRDF to obtain a spectral polarization BRDF(p-BRDF) based on the microfacet theory.
