Abstract:SummaryIn this research work, a compact‐sized offset‐fed broadband monopole antenna is designed using a frequency selective surface (FSS) reflector to enhance gain, radiation efficiency, and FBR and validated experimentally. The designed antenna consists of a triple v‐slit on a rectangular‐shaped radiating patch, a modified partial ground, and a frequency‐selective surface (FSS).
