Modeling and Simulation of a Pi Controlled Shunt Active Power Filter for Power Quality Improvement Based on P-Q Theory

Abstract: A Reliable line filter design to mitigate current and voltage harmonics to meet utility power quality requirements is a key requirement for today's power systems. This article presents a detailed approach to designing shunt active power filters (SAPFs) to improve power quality.
