Abstract:This research analyses the dynamic response of a single-cylinder magnetic reciprocating engine (MRE) and the mathematical model formulation with experimental validation. In efforts to reduce the pollution generated by internal combustion engines (ICE), the MREs have emerged as an alternative to this problem. An MRE uses the ICE structure and replaces fossil fuels with magnetic fields to work with the principle of magnetic repulsion between an electromagnet and a permanent magnet. The work focuses on determinin… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
