Abstract:The results of the theory of modeling for obtaining nanocylinders have been described. A case of a nanocylinder whose diameters are shorter than the Tolman length has been considered. This important issue is taken into account in studying a nanocylinder for which, in the simplest model, the thickness of the interfacial layer cannot be determined because it supposedly has a small size. An analytical solution for the Gibbs–Tolman–Koenig–Buff equation for microwire and nanowire surfaces has been obtained. Analysis has been performed for a cylindrical surface in terms of the linear and nonlinear Van der Waals theory.
The theory of surface phenomena in the production of micro-and nanocylinder for important cases is considered. Analytical solution to Gibbs–Tolman–Koenig–Buff equation for nanowire surface is given. Analytical solutions to equations for case the cylindrical surface for the linear and nonlinear Van der Waals theory are analyzed. But for a nonlinear theory, this correspondence is absent.
