Modeling of Environmental Safety of Industrially Developed Regions of Russia

Abstract: The paper presents the study on modeling of objects and processes to forecast environmental safety in industrially developed regions of Russia. It is shown that the sources of pollution of the regional environment form a complex technogenic system triggering the development of qualitatively new negative processes violating comfortable living conditions of the local population. The complexity and scientific uncertainty of environmental impacts caused the development of modern methods of analysis of environmenta… Show more

“…The optimal management solutions have been adopted and developed to develop methods for forecasting environmental safety. Based on the identified factors, the scope and types of negative impacts that accompany the organizational and technical processes of non-viable coal mines were determined, scientific and methodological approaches were proposed and a methodology for assessing the liquidation impact on the environment of the Russian Donbass was developed [13][14][15]. Depending on the dynamics of mine water lifting, space-time parameters of man-made impacts and their nature are established.…”

“…The widespread introduction of technologies for producing biogas from agricultural waste through microbial conversion in Russia would make it possible to obtain up to 85 million tons of fuel per a year. However, the implementation of this program requires bioenergy installations with a total reactor capacity of 50-60 million m 3 .…”

“…In modern conditions, the problem of free territories appropriate for building even in regional towns remains very relevant. Therefore, auxiliary facilities are increasingly to be located in areas that are rather complicated from a construction point of view, and under strict observance of environmental safety measures [1].…”
