Modeling of Particle Size Distribution in the Presence of Flocculant

Abstract:This study presents a mathematical description of the solid fraction aggregation process in the presence of a flocculant and its result. The basis is a population balance equation. The model is realized in Python language. Verification was carried out using red mud from the investigated enterprise; Flomin AL P 99 VHM was used as a flocculant.
