Modeling of Water-invaded Horizontal Well With Inflow Control Device's at Gulf of Suez Area

Abstract: The Gulf of Suez contains a lot of fields most of these fields suffering from water invasion. Inflow control technology is used to manacle the unfavorable effects of water coning that delay water breakthrough. It balances the inflow between well bore and completion by adding more pressure drop between the reservoir and the well bore.
