“…Such products can reduce fuel consumption of road transportation by a quarter, while also reducing fuel costs and carbon dioxide emissions. Li, B., et al [19] believed that the average emission of CO 2 of electric vehicles reach to be 1/10 of that of gasoline vehicles per kilometer, and the active development of electric vehicles and the related smart charging devices can significantly reduce future carbon emissions. Zhao, J., et al [20] introduced artificial intelligence to design value-added vehicle power, used high-swing batteries and replaced batteries as needed to reduce their life cycle costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.…”

“…China [48] 174 million EVs on the roads in the moderate scenario and 349 million EV in the aggressive scenario by 2050 + 70% reduction in power sector emissions by 2050 10%, 13% and 6% increase in gas, storage and solar capacity respectively between moderate and aggressive scenarios. 55.5 billion USD (4.4%) increase in annual total power system costs by 2050.…”

“…The SWICH-China model is a generation and transmission expansion model of the Chinese power system that is mainly developed and improved by Li et al (2021) and Johnston et al (2019), and whose code is open-source and available on GitHub. The model is a linear program and its objective is to minimize the sum of all investment and operation costs, including (1) the capital costs of new and existing generators, (2) the fixed operation and maintenance (O&M) costs of all generators, (3) the variable costs of all generators, (4) the fuel costs, (5) the transmission and distribution (T&D) costs of inter-regional and regional lines, and (6) the fixed O&M costs of new and existing transmission lines and local T&D. Nominal prices are used for the modeling and the discount rates for the modeling is 8%.…”
