Modeling the spread of harmful substances in the atmosphere at a variable velocity profile

Abstract: This study developed a mathematical model for the dispersion and transportation of pollutants in the atmosphere. The problem associated with the spread of monodisperse passive tracer from an instantaneous point source in the atmosphere assuming a partial absorption of surface impurities is solved. One version of the computational algorithm and a theoretical justification, is that, the applicability of numerical methods for computational experiment is developed. These results are consistent with the physical la… Show more

“…The shortcomings and obstacles to the development of public-private partnerships in the transport industry were investigated. Using the method of graphical representation of the results, drawings-diagrams reflecting the current situation were compiled (scheme of the algorithm for determining the effectiveness of public-private partnership projects in the field of transport infrastructure; scheme of risk classification of public-private partnership projects in transport infrastructure; scheme of advantages and disadvantages of the concession form of public-private partnership implementation (Aydosov et al 2016;Tanirbergenova et al 2021;Kamalova et al 2008). The degree of validity and reliability of scientific statements and conclusions is provided by the analysis of a large array of official data from authoritative Kazakh and foreign sources.…”

The last term of equation ( 3) describing the impurity runoff in the fog can be expressed by the formula [1,2]: с В S P r n r dr , where P(r) is the amount of impurity absorbed by a fog drop of radius r per unit time, and n(r) is a function of the droplet size distribution. The value of P(r) is usually determined by studying the interaction of pollutants with fog droplets [1].…”
