Modelling and Simulation of a Microturbine during Transient Events

Abstract: Abstract. This paper deals with the performance of a microturbine connected to a LV grid during different transient events in the network. The study is based on the dynamic modelling of a microturbine and the simulation of different events in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The microturbine model has been validated with the measurements taken in several test of a real 28kW Capstone microturbine.
