Modelling of weather radar echoes from anomalous propagation using a hybrid parabolic equation method and NWP model data

Abstract: Abstract. Contamination of weather radar echoes by anomalous propagation (anaprop) mechanisms remains a serious issue in quality control of radar precipitation estimates.
