Abstract:The review summarizes and analyzes the available literature to provide information to clinicians about the best treatment strategies for type 2 diabetes in stable coronary artery disease. This data should help health care professionals make decisions in routine practice. 2023 European and Russian guidelines on type 2 diabetes suggest giving preference to glucose-lowering agents with proven benefits for the cardiovascular system, followed by drugs with proven safety for the cardiovascular system.
