Modes of oscillation in a high pressure microplasma discharges

Abstract: Atmospheric pressure microplasma devices, have been the subject of considerable research during the last decade. Most of the operation regime of the discharges studied fall in the 'abnormal', 'normal' and 'corona' modes -increasing and a 'flat' voltage current characteristics. However, the Negative Differential Resistance (NDR) regime at atmospheric and high pressures has been less studied and possesses the unique characteristics that can be employed for novel applications. The NDR regime has been studied for … Show more

“…This research focuses on determining the time of damage onset and how crack growth occurs by establishing a set of parameters. Laboratory methods are employed to determine the properties of various materials [10][11][12][13][14][15]. These properties are then used to model the direction of the tooth sample using cohesive meshing techniques [16,17].…”

“…In fact, instead of testing the engine and obtaining experimental data in the laboratory, which is very time-consuming and expensive, the obtained model can be used as a virtual engine and a platform for collecting the required experimental data. You can also apply the designed controller or the desired improvements and tunings to the model and see the result [19][20][21][22].…”

“…This is one of the engine's distinguishing characteristics. One of the advantages of this engine is that it has the capacity to improve efficiency [1,15,16] and reduce fuel consumption [17][18][19][20][21][22]by changing the compression ratio and the pace at which heat is released.…”
