Abstract: A large amount of the polypropylene (PP) produced worldwide is used in the form of fibers. In this work, a new modification route for talc and PP is investigated, which is based on the in situ polymerization of a silane–siloxane monomer mixture on the surface of talc particles or PP pellets, respectively.
