Modification of UHPC Matrix and Fiber Surface for Improving the Mechanical Performance of Ultra-High-Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete

Abstract: In this study, filler and silica fume were substituted by Liquid crystal display glass powder (LCDGP) and nanosilica, respectively, to improve the performance of ultra-high- performance fiber-reinforced concrete. In addition, the surface of steel fiber was modified with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) solution to improve the interfacial friction between the fiber and Ultra-high-performanceconcrete (UHPC) matrix.
