“…Fungi were grown on a modified Adamek medium ( Iwanicki et al 2018 ) with the following nutritional composition per liter: 80 g yeast extract, 40 g cornsteep liquor (Sigma, St. Louis, USA), minerals, trace metals and vitamins adapted from Jackson’s medium ( Jackson et al 1997 ) at the following concentrations per liter: KH 2 PO 4 , 2.5 g; CaCl 2 0.2H 2 O, 1.0 g; MgSO 4 0.7H 2 O, 0.83 g; FeSO 4 0.7H 2 O, 0.3 g; CoCl 2 0.6H 2 O, 29.6 mg; MnSO 4 .H 2 O, 12.8 mg; ZnSO 4 0.7H 2 O, 11.2 mg; 0.2 mg each of thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenate, niacin, pyridoxamine, thioctic acid; and 0.02 mg each of folic acid, biotin, and vitamin B12. The medium was amended with 140g L -1 of glucose solutions that were autoclaved separately.…”
