“…The M‐CTS has been used successfully with Spanish‐speaking samples. Prior studies in Spanish and Mexican samples have corroborated the MCTS factorial structure (Muñoz‐Rivas, Andreu Rodríguez, et al, 2007; Muñoz‐Rivas, Graña, et al, 2007; Ronzón‐Tirado et al, 2019) and its convergent validity with other measures of aggression such as the Aggression Questionnaire (AQ; Buss & Perry, 1992), and the Dominating and Jealous Tactics Scale (DJTS; Kasian & Painter, 1992). In the present study, the scale obtained satisfactory reliability data measured using Cronbach's alpha coefficients, equivalent to α = .64, 95% CI (0.62–0.66) for verbal perpetration, α = .61 95% CI (0.60–0.63) for verbal victimization, α = .81 95% CI (0.80–0.82) for physical perpetration, and α = .80 95% CI (0.79–0.81) for physical victimization.…”

“…This study is a secondary analysis of cross‐sectional data from three different samples of adolescents who attended compulsory secondary schools (CSS) in Madrid, Spain. The first sample was a survey in 2006 (Muñoz‐Rivas, Andreu Rodríguez, et al, 2007; Muñoz‐Rivas, Graña, et al, 2007), the second in 2010 (Muñoz‐Rivas et al, 2015), and the third in 2016 (Muñoz‐Rivas, Ronzón‐Tirado, Zamarrón, et al, 2021). All three studies were conducted under a standardized procedure.…”

“…These five studies showed a forward translation–back translation method by several translators independently, consulted experts in the field of interest and cognitive interviews with the target population, adapting to the standards described above. Some studies reported the forward translation–back translation method process independently, but did not include experts, and/or cognitive interviews with the target population (Começanha & Maia, 2018; Hokoda et al, 2006; López‐Cepero et al, 2016; Muñoz‐Rivas et al, 2007, 2019; Presaghi et al, 2015). The rest of the studies only reported that a translation process had been carried out (Al‐Modallal et al, 2020; Bobbio et al, 2019; Fernández‐Fuertes et al, 2006; He et al, 2013).…”
