Modified Self‐Appraisal for Occupational Therapists

Abstract

This article provides an overview of performance appraisal and recounts the experiences of the authors in the design and implementation of an appraisal system which was recently introduced into the occupational therapy department of a major teaching hospital. Those experiences have been recorded as a case study so that occupational therapists and associated health professional groups might evaluate the utility of the methodology used and the final appraisal system produced for their own health care organisations.
