Modifizierte Technik der Verpflanzung des Musculus trapezius zur Funktionsverbesserung bei Armplexusschäden

Abstract: The procedure was performed in 104 cases. 80 patients were followed up on average after 2.4 years (0.8-8 years). In all cases, the transfer resulted in an increase of function and in 95% in a decrease of multidirectional shoulder instability. The modification of the original technique in the latest 22 cases was superior in terms of shoulder stability. In all these cases, a decrease of instability was achieved and inferior subluxation was abolished.

“…The average age of patients could not be established due to some studies reporting only the minimum and maximum ages of the sample and others reporting only the average age. Thus some studies were included even though the minimum 18‐20 or maximum age 16,21‐23 of the patients was either lower or higher than the eligibility criteria of this review, since the sample was composed mainly of patients who met the criteria (the estimated pooled mean age reported in these studies was 25.2 to 50.2 years). Three studies included individuals with varied types of peripheral nerve injury and reported a sample ratio of 52 of 107 (48.6%), 24 2 of 10 (20%), 22 and 32 of 50 (64%) 25 of patients with BPI in their total sample.…”

“…Most studies reported the affected nerve trunks, 9,16‐22,27‐38 of 356 reports (ie, combined total sample); 280/356 were classified as lesions in the three trunks and 76/356 as upper trunk injuries. One study 23 classified the BPI as total paralysis (n = 37 patients) and incomplete paralysis (n = 43 patients). Two case reports 39,40 classified the BPI according to the affected region (ie, infra‐ or supra‐clavicular sites), and other authors 16‐18,29‐31,36,41 detailed the injuries by including more than a single classification category, such as root avulsion injury and degree of peripheral nerve injury.…”

“…Sin embargo, los grados de ganancia de abducción y elevación anterior aumentan de manera discreta (28º y 17º respectivamente). 8 Esta transferencia está orientada a disminuir la subluxación inferior y a mejorar parcialmente la abducción y elevación anterior, en ninguno de los reportes se describe de manera precisa la recuperación de rotación externa del hombro. En nuestro medio no contamos con pacientes operados con esta técnica.…”
