“…The specific BET surface area and pore volume of NiCo 2 S 4 are calculated to be of 13 m 2 g −1 and 0.04 cm 3 g −1 , respectively. In general, the mesoporous structure is favorable to unveil more catalytically active sites and accelerate mass/charge transport for heterogeneous CO 2 photoreduction reactions …”

“…In general, the mesoporous structure is favorable to unveil more catalytically active sites and accelerate mass/ charge transport for heterogeneous CO 2 photoreduction reactions. [46][47] The CO 2 photoreduction performance of the NiCo 2 S 4 catalyst is studied in the tandem catalytic system that works in mixed solvents of H 2 O and acetonitrile under mild conditions (e. g., 30°C, 1 atm CO 2 ) and visible light illumination, employing Ru and TEOA as a photosensitizer and an electron donor, respectively. [24] CO is detected as the sole CO 2 reduction product, coupled with a small amount of H 2 .…”

“…The resultant green colour solution obtained is tightly kept into a Teflon autoclave and heated at a temperature of 150 °C for 1 day. The resulting Ni‐MOFs obtained was filtered, washed with ethanol for several times and dried at 80 °C …”

“…In typical synthesis, dried Ni‐MOFs powders were heated to 500 °C under a N 2 atmosphere for 2 h and then eventually cooled to obtain black Ni@C sample. The synthesised catalyst exhibit the characteristic properties like high activity and stability for CO 2 methanation reaction at low temperature …”
