This thesis focuses on the tetrakis(tertbutyl)imidosulfate S(NtBu)4 2-and the corresponding protonated compound OS(NtBu)2(NHtBu).In the seventies Glemser and Wegener obtained the first sulfur-nitrogen compound with sulfur in the oxidation state of +VI. [28] S(NSiMe3)3 was synthesized in the reaction of sulfur nitride trifluoride and lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (Scheme 1.2, (I)). As a side product, bis(N-trimethylsilylimido)sulfur difluoride could be isolated. [28] In addition, Glemser et al. reported the synthesis of S(NtBu)3 via addition of NSF3 (II). [29] Alternatively, Verbeek et al. utilized OSF4 instead of NSF3 for the reaction of a sulfate anion analog (III). [30] Scheme 1.2: Syntheses of sulfurtriimide. [28][29][30] However, the yields of these reactions were very low because the substances are highly reactive. Thus, a new synthesis was developed realizing the oxidation of sulfur +IV to sulfur +VI of the iminosulfindiamide by bromine or iodine. [22,31] The involvement of halides suggests a radical mechanism with the characterized dimeric product given by Scheme 1.3.

Die Umsetzung der Achtringverbindung S,N,O, rnit mehrfach substituierten Silylaminen und Tris(trimethylstanny1)amin fuhrt zu den Sechs-bzw. Achtring-Heterocyclen 1 -3. Die Sechsringe 1 und 2 sind die ersten Beispiele, in denen der Schwefel die formalen Oxidationsstufen 2, 4 und 6 erreicht. 1 und 2 lassen sich auch durch Umsetzung von N-Sulfinylfluorsulfonamid mit silyl-oder stannylsubstituiertem Schwefeldiimid darstellen. 2 und 3 sind ebenfalls zuganglich durch die The reaction of the eight-membered compound S,N,O, with silylamines having several substituents and tris(trimethylstanny1)amine yields the six-and eight-membered heterocycles 1 -3. The six-membered rings 1 and 2 are the first examples where the sulfur atoms have the formal oxidation states 2, 4, and 6. 1 and 2 can also be synthesized by the reaction of silyl-and stannylsubstituted sulfur diimide with N-sulfinylfluorosulfonamide. 2 and 3 are also obtained by the reaction of S,N,O, with trimethyltin azide. The structure of 2 was determined by an X-ray analysis. 2 crystallizes in the space group P2,. Five of the six-ring atoms form a plane. The nitrogen atom coordinated to the tin lies 78 pm above this plane. The S -N bond lengths are discussed in connection with known structures.Die Darstellung von Tetraschwefeltetranitrid gelang zum ersten Ma1 in der Mitte der ersten Halfte des 19. Jahrhunderts '). Ein neuer anorganischer sechsgliedriger Ring 3, der aus den Elementen Schwefel, Stickstoff und Zinn besteht, wird durch Reaktion von CF,SO,N= S -0 mit [CF,SO,NSn(CH,)J, (2a) dargestellt. Die Konstitution von 3 wird durch die Rdntgenstrukturanalyse bestltigt. Synthesis and Structure of a Six-membered Ring with the Elements Sulfur, Nitrogen, and TinA new inorganic six-membered ring 3, containing the elements sulfur, nitrogen, and tin, is prepared by the reaction of CF,SO,N=S=O with [CF,S02NSn(CH,)J3 (2s). 3 was characterized on the basis of an X-ray analysis.
