Abstract: The acetylcholinesterase-inhibitory potential of the oleanane-type triterpenes and their glycosides from the Terminalia arjuna (Combreatceae) bark, i.e. arjunic acid, arjunolic acid, arjungenin, arjunglucoside I, sericic acid, and arjunetin, is presented.
