Molecular characterization of anti-platelet aggregating proteins in salivary gland extracts of Hyalomma anatolicum ticks

Abstract: Tick saliva is a cocktail of potent anti-haemostatic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory molecules that help the ticks to obtain a blood meal from their vertebrate hosts.
