Abstract: BackgroundAcinetobacter calcoaceticus baumannii (ACB) complex has become a major concern nowadays because of its increasing involvement in several severe infections associated with catheter-related bloodstream and urinary tract infections, ventilator-associated pneumonia, cerebrospinal shunt-related meningitis, and wound infections.
