“…Due to its rich nutrition, delicate meat, delicious taste, P. dabryanus is known as “ginseng in the water.” As a small freshwater benthic fish, it is loved by consumers and has a huge market potential. At present, there have been related reports on genetics and breeding (Zhou, Long, Song, Li, & Cui, 2016; Zhu & Liu, 2016), nutritional requirement (Gao et al., 2014; Wang, Hu, Cao, Yang, & Wang, 2007) and immunoregulation (Victor et al., 2019; Zhang, 2019; Zhu & Wu, 2018) of loach.
