Viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHFs) are any group of viral infectious diseases that interfere with the blood’s ability to clot. Viruses that cause these hemorrhagic fevers are found in a variety of hosts including bats, rodents or arthropods like mosquitoes and ticks.
