Abstract:Background: Parvovirus B19 infection causes a wide range of complication in pregnant women including spontaneous abortion, severe fetal anaemia, non-immune hydrops fetalis and even intrauterine fetal death, erythema infectiosum (5th) disease and aplastic crisis.
