Molecular epidemiology of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) in liver disease patients in Sri Lanka

Abstract: Background: Globally, hepatitis C virus (HCV) is an important cause of chronic liver disease. Genotypes of HCV are associated with different profiles of pathogenicity, infectivity, and antiviral therapy.
