Molecular imaging of glycogen synthase kinase-3β and casein kinase-1α kinases

Abstract: Glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK3 β) and casein kinase-1 alpha (CK-1α) are multifunctional kinases that play critical role in the regulation of a number of cellular processes. In spite of their importance, molecular imaging tools for non-invasive and real-time monitoring of their kinase activities have not been devised.
