Abstract:Computational methods were used to investigate six anthocyanidins exhibiting antidiabetic activity by inhibiting glucokinase regulatory protein (GKRP) activity. Density functional theory was used to optimise the geometry of anthocyanidins and calculate their quantum chemical properties.
