Abstract:We have earlier reported novel anti‐leishmanial molecules, veratramine and hupehenine, targeting dephospho‐coenzyme A kinase of the parasite. In our current investigation, we assessed the efficacy of these two steroidal alkaloids, veratramine and hupehenine, in combating the parasite.
