“…Partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) has been, by far, the dominant polymer used in enhanced oil recovery. Previous studies have reported [8,13,19,20] that HPAM has played an important role in the colloidal stability of PFR. Therefore, we chose HPAM to design the SLPFR system to study the effect of the HPAM + SLPFR systems' stability .…”

“…Based on the previous study [8,21] , the solution of 10,000 mg/L NaCl, 300 mg/L SLPFR, 1500mg/L MgCl 2 or CaCl 2 , 100mg/L surfactant (Tween60,SDS,CTAB) were used, then HPAM with different molecular weights was added. According to this paper [21] , the turbidity change rate of the HPAM + SLPFR system was the smallest at the HPAM concentration of 25 mg/L, and the stability of the system was the best. Therefore, 25mg/L HPAM was preferentially selected for the follow-up research of each system.…”

“…In our previous research work 17 , we have explored the molecular modelling of the Tween60/SDS/CTAB-PFR system and its dispersion stability in salt solution. The concentration of Tween60/SDS/CTAB surfactants in 10000mg/L NaCl was determined to be 100mg/L.…”

“…HPAM has attracted attention owing to its low cost, good viscosity and well-known physico-chemical properties, and the capability to tolerate the high mechanical forces present during ooding. 13 Previous studies have reported that [14][15][16][17] HPAM and water chemistry conditions in an aqueous environment (e.g., electrolyte types and concentration, pH and coexisting substances, surfactants, etc.) played important roles in the colloidal stability of PFR.…”
