Abstract: Birt–Hogg–Dubé syndrome (BHDS) is an autosomal dominant disease characterized by skin, lung, and renal manifestations. This syndrome is caused by a germline mutation in the FLCN gene, which leads to disruption in multiple downstream pathways.
