Molecular Signatures of Attention Networks

Abstract: Attention network theory proposes three distinct types of attention - alerting, orienting, and control - that are supported by separate brain networks and modulated by different neurotransmitters, i.e., noradrenaline, acetylcholine, and dopamine.
