Molecular typing and prognostic model of lung adenocarcinoma based on cuprotosis-related lncRNAs

Abstract: Background: Previous research has shown the heterogeneity of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) accounts for the different effects and prognoses of the same treatment. Cuprotosis is a newly discovered form of programmed cell death involved in the development of tumors. Therefore, it is important to study the long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) that regulate cuprotosis to identify molecular subtypes and predict survival of LUAD. Methods: The expression profile, clinical, and mutation data of LUAD were downloaded from The Ca… Show more

“…With the same technology in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients, Some LncRNA s are thought to have strong correlations with ductal adenocarcinoma outcomes, including AC005332.6, LINC02041, LINC00857, and AL117382 ( Chi et al, 2022 ). The same results in lung adenocarcinoma were seen ( Zheng M. et al, 2022 ). Cuprotosis can affect the polarization and function of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), which are immune cells that play a crucial role in the tumor microenvironment.…”

“…As importantly functional molecules in HCC, lncRNAs have been intensively investigated. [47][48][49] Many HCC-related lncRNAs show aberrant expression and correlation with prognosis of HCC patients. [50][51][52] However, the contribution of m 6 A modification to the expression and role of lncRNAs are still largely unclear.…”
