Moments Of Microdiversity EGC Receivers And Macrodiversity SC Receiver Output Signal Over Gamma Shadowed Nakagami–m Multipath Fading Channel

Abstract: A system with macrodiversity selection combining (SC) receiver and for microdiversity equal gain combining (EGC) receivers is considered. Received signal is subjected, simultaneously to multipath fading and shadowing, resulting in signal envelope and signal power variation. Closed form expressions for moments of macrodiversity SC receiver output signal envelope are calculated. Numerical expressions are plotted to present the influences of Gamma shadowing severity and Nakagami-m severity on moments of proposed … Show more

“…The statistical behavior of signals in such systems can be described by different distributions: by Rayleigh, Rician, Nakagami-m, Weibull or κ-μ [2], [6], [7]. κ-μ distribution can be used to describe the variation of the signal envelope in linear environments where it is a dominant component.…”

Analitički izraz za gustinu verovatnoće predstavljen je u zatvorenom obliku, dok analitički izrazi ostalih parametara predstavljeni su u vidu beskonačnog reda.…”
